Celebrating the Abilities of Those with Disabilities

2013 Celebrate Differences 5k

Celebrate Differences, in cooperation with Road Runner Sports, is hosting the second annual 5K Steps Toward A Brighter Future on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 9:00AM through the heart of downtown Oswego, Illinois. This event is for racers, runners and walkers. New this year is a 3K Walk and a Kids Dash for Disabilities.

Celebrate Differences is an all inclusive disability awareness center, welcoming all children and their families regardless of age or disability. We realize parents are experiencing the feeling of being overwhelmed with emotions, worries and questions.  We want families to know there is hope; we have resources available to help. Celebrate Differences offers a place where children, adults and families feel welcome, safe and a part of a larger, accepting community. A place where they are able to utilize their gifts and celebrate their uniqueness; where they can truly be themselves.

Participation in this event is a great way to join in the spirit making a difference in the lives of others.
